Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
I found this hotel tucked into Long Island City, just a few minutes away by subway from Manhattan. The bed was lovely and comfortable, making my stay cozy. The proximity to transportation was excellent, but the area around the hotel felt a little daunting for first-time visitors to New York, especially at night.
My stay at this hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were a great size by NYC standards, but unfortunately, they were very noisy due to being positioned in front of the vending/icing machines. However, the room could have been improved as it blew air directly on the bed. The service was a hit or miss - some staff members were friendly, while others were nasty and disrespectful. Despite these issues, the location was convenient as it was close to the subway station and a short walk to a few restaurants, though the surrounding area could be daunting at night for first-time NYC visitors.
My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious by NYC standards and had a sort of jacuzzi right in the bedroom, which was a unique feature. However, the service was lacking, with issues like the unauthorized use of my credit card for food delivery and poor shower pressure. The location was convenient for accessing Manhattan but might be a little daunting for first-time visitors to New York. The dining options were disappointing, with stale food and a lack of nutritional value.
The hotel is conveniently located next to public transportation with easy access to Manhattan, offering clean and comfortable rooms. The service was exceptional with a friendly and helpful staff. The dining experience, although limited, was satisfactory. The neighborhood is accessible but lacks nearby dining options. Overall, a decent value for money stay.
